The Nomad Ski club is a Chicago-area not for profit skiing, snowboarding, and social club, established in 1961. Winter has arrived again!  We have stepped up our meetup trips for this season to include other resorts, additional pickup locations, overnight trips and one big trip west! One day trips will go to either Devil's Head Resort, Cascade Mountain or Chestnut Mountain every weekend! … Our outdoor trips are usually to Devil's Lake in Wisconsin and Red River Gorge in Kentucky. (About 200 and 400 miles from Chicago respectively.) Most outdoor trips are lead by AMGA (http://www.amga.com) certified instructors. These trips usually require an investment of under $80 and include all the equipment you will need for rock climbing.
